Electric Car - Bright business in the global warming-high price oil era

"Tomorrow the price of gasoline will be 0.20 cents more" This wording threatens motorists from time to time.
The rising price of gasoline and consumer goods force people to adopt the self-sufficiency way of life to survive.

Oil price is not rising only in USA but also countries around the world.
The vigorous search for alternative energy to replace oil is obvious everywhere.
Hence, the development of electric car is closely watch as it can reduces the oil consumption and contributes to the cleaner air.

Not only big companies are developing the electric car, small companies also planned to introduce many electric cars this year.
One of them is designed by Steve Fambro, a young American engineer who never thought of producing electric car until
he had to drive 58 kilometers to work everyday in the hectic condition.

He changed the vehicle to motorcycle and hybrid car to save the time and fuel. Finally, he decided to build his own car to
offer the new way to travel safety. more economically and environmental friendly.

Fambro's first electric car is Aptera, in Greece means wingless.Aptera is the three-wheeled, two-passenger car with
two choices - hybrid and all-electric. Its top speed is 150 kilometer per hour. The hybrid type can run up to 480kilometers on one
gallon or about four liters of oil. The all-electric type can run up to 160 kilometers per one 3-6-hour charge.

Other company that has been working on electric car is Tesla Motors based on San Carlos, California. The company planned to launch
the Tesla at the price of US$98,000 early this year.

Mr. Lan Wright, an entrepreneur, also in California works on another model the WrightspeedXI, a sport electric car with the acceleration
rate of 0-60 miles in three seconds. It is the electric car with high acceleration rate second to only the French Bugatti Veyron car.

In regarding to the truck, Phoenix Motorcars based in Ontario is sending the Phoenix, the electric pickup truck, into the market
early this year to test the market.
